Let’s get started…

What are 3M windowing tinting films?

3M window tinting film (or solar widow film) is a thin layer film similar to what you find on car windows. It can help block out the sun’s ultraviolet rays and control the flow of heat through your home and windows.

If you’re familiar with older versions of window tinting film, you may have passed on them – the older versions options were limited and aesthetically lacking. 3M’s cutting edge technology has made for advances in window tinting film, making the window films undetectable and extremely effective.

Why 3M windowing films?

What sets our Prestige Series films apart is the precision with which light waves are controlled as they pass through or reflect off of hundreds of layers of film. Compared to other films, Prestige Series Window Films increase their performance at a faster rate as the sun’s angle increases. That means greater protection and comfort when you need it the most.

All window films are tested when the sun is perpendicular to the window. 3M™ Prestige Series Window Films are tested and perform best when the sun is high, at the hottest part of the day.

Lower Energy Costs

Give your cooling system — and your wallet — a break with 3M™ Sun Control Window Films. Stay cool and comfortable all day long by rejecting up to 78% of the sun’s heat coming through your windows. During the summer, 3M™ Window Films let in the light you love while reflecting much of the sun’s heat and glare away from your home.

Temperature Control

Do your windows let in too much heat from the summer sun? Does winter’s frigid cold seem to seep right through the glass? 3M™ Window Films can help insulate your windows against excessive heat and cold, so you can enjoy the beauty of natural light in comfort, all year round.

UV and Fade Protection

The sun can cause furniture, artwork, flooring and window treatments to lose color and break down over time. Even more critical is the increased risk of skin cancer and premature skin aging, caused by harmful UV rays entering through your windows. 3M™ Window Films give you an easy, economical way to protect your furnishings and your family, while allowing you to enjoy natural sunlight.

Great product , installation and sales experience

We installed the Prestige 50 for a 3 door window in our great room. The salesman was very knowledgeable and helped us decide and the installation team was efficient, neat and professional. We installed Nightvision 35 on the upper 3 windows and skylights where the sun was greatest and the combo is great.
